The Hood Residences Condominium
Completed in 2005 by Metropark, LLC, The Hood Residences is a 9-unit, mixed-use, condominium. The five story structure is clad in copper, with modern details and earthy materials. Architects Thom and Lynn Wood, Timeline Architecture, of Colchester, Vermont, collaborated with Lou Natale and Anne Rothwell on every aspect of the building’s exterior and interiors. Structural Engineer Barb Evans, of Knight Consulting Engineering, was presented the ‘Grand Award’ from the American Council of Engineering Companies in 2006. The wooden frame is laterally secured using the Simpson Strong-Tie system. The copper siding was shaped by Paradigm Shingles in Milton, VT. Concrete was poured by Harrison Concrete in Georgia, VT.
